Damon Criswell is a composer, producer and orchestrator for film and television. He is best known for creating film scores for dramatic, action/adventure and suspenseful
projects.

Damon was recently (2009) nominated for Best Composer for the drama Still Born
in the 168 Hour Film Project (an international faith-based film competition) which was judged by Ralph Winter (X-Men Producer) and Mark Clayman (The Pursuit of Happyness Executive Producer) among others. He recently composed and produced the music for the dramatic web series Exposed (The WB Network). Recent advertising credits include national commercials for Verizon, LG, T. Rowe Price, Sleepy’s and Zendough.

In collaboration with Andy Sturmer, Damon is currently composing and producing music for the animated series Kick Buttowski (Disney). Damon has collaborated with him on several episodes of the Ben 10 series (Cartoon Network) and the feature film Ben Ten Race Against Time. He created the intriguing score for Pale Blue Moon which won Best Texas Feature. Additional film credits include 10 Bullets and Oceanfront Property. Damon has been described as a maestro of the theatrical trailer, having composed the trailers for Shark Hunter, The Stickup, Harvard Man, Air Panic and U.S. Seals 3, to name a few. His music has been recorded and performed by the Kiev Symphony Orchestra and the Nashville String Machine.

Having become established at creating emotionally engaging orchestral film scores, Damon has garnered the attention of producers and directors who discover that he is adaptive and has exceptional creative sensibilities. Damon was sought by 615 Music to contribute to their Scoring Stage Music CDs. He is equally adept at composing and
producing Jazz, Urban, and World/Ethnic music and many other styles, having made
prolific contributions to reknowned music libraries. His music has been heard worldwide on the NFL Network, FOX Sports, CNN, NBC, Saturday Night Live among many others.

His years as a proficient jazz pianist and keyboardist and his time studying classical piano with international artist Pamela Mia Paul, lend well to his producing talents.
He received a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Arranging from the University of North Texas and graduated from the nationally recognized Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts where he won numerous Downbeat awards.
